Inventory Planning Coordinator
*DUTIES*
*.*
1. Evaluates and executes decisions to increase, decrease and balance
Inventory after reviewing Inventory targets, master planning requirements
and shop floor control. Responsible to update Inventory levels according
sales seasonality and sales Forecats. Responsible to communicate Inventory
targets to the plant.
2. Interfaces with Purchasing/Manufacturing when appropriate to
increase Inventory parts (Raw material & WIP) in order to maintain shop
order start dates to manufacturing/assembly and on time delivery.
Interfaces with Central Planning to provide status on orders, expedites and
shipments.
3. Coordinates, directs and initiates projects to improve efficiency,
accuracy and system integrity.
4. Lead Projects and New operations.
5. Supervises and directs all administrative functions pertaining to
assigned department.
6. Liaison between manufacturing and information systems. Liaison
between shipping and Central Planning. Service priority orders should be
requested internally to production control, in order to define priorities
in production.
7. Maintains the accuracy and integrity of Shop Floor Control and
assigned Inventory planning in the plant
8. Evaluates safety stock requirements.
9. Support all Company Quality Policies including ISO 9001, EN46001,
MDD, FDA, Safety Regulations and ASME code.
10. Recognize departmental training needs, budgets and conduct training
classes as required.
11. Process employees’ performance reviews and salary adjustments in a
timely manner.
12. Ensures operation and practices conform to safety regulations; JHA,
PPE, Working Instruction Training Program.
13. Must be knowledgeable of Good Manufacturing Practices relating to the
areas of responsibilities.
14. Must possess the skills to manage the activities of employees of
various skill levels and provide leadership for Quality, Safety, and
Regulatory Requirements.
15. Active participation of the SAFETY, CONTINUOS IMPROVEMENT and TRAINING
initiatives, which include but are not limited to: A3 Certification and
projects, STOP Observations, Monthly Safety Audits, SQDC board maintenance,
upgrade and administration of KPI for the area, propose and execute CIP
(Cost Improvement Projects), maintenance of LSW sheet, upgrade and
maintenance of initiatives using Dploy system.
