Tema: �Metaheuristics for Multi-objective Optimization. Theory and Applications�.
Resumen:
Meta-heuristic methods are widely used to solve single-objective optimization problems, especially when dealing with real applications. However, a multiple criteria approach is usually demanded when solving real-world applications, requiring the consideration of several conflicting points of view corresponding to multiple objectives.
As it happens within the field of single-objective optimization, meta-heuristics have shown to be efficient for solving multi-objective optimization models. It is one of the most active and growing branching in the field of multi-objective optimisation in current years.
This talk provides an overview on how to choose, design, evaluate and use a multiobjective metaheuristic for a complex problem.

Juli�n Molina, Department of Applied Economics (Mathematics), University of M�laga, Spain
Juli�n Molina works in the fied of multi-criteria decision making, on both its theoretical and methodological aspects. His main research is currently focused on meta-heuristics for multiobjective optimization: development of methods, preference inclusion and applications.
