Título: “Alternative formulations for the Traveling Salesman Problem and the relax and cut approach”

Resumen: In this talk we discuss alternative formulations for the Asymmetric Traveling Salesman Problem (ATSP) given in the literature. For some of then the computational execution time necessary to solve the associated linear relaxation is high, stimulating the search of new ways for obtaining dual bounds. We present an application of the relax and cut method to the multi-commodity flow formulation for the ATSP to derive dual bounds. 

Biografía: Profesor Titular del Departamento de Ciencias Computacionales y Estadística, UNESP, campus S. J Río Preto. Obtiene su M. C. en Matemáticas Aplicadas por la Universidad Estatal de Campinas (Brasil) y su PhD en Investigación de Operaciones por Brunel University, Londres.--
